Who has never laughed and goaded palace fans when we beat them??

Swindon are my local club so what is wrong with a bit of mocking...

Can't you do the mocking to the face of your colleagues and friends? Or even better, wear a sandwich board containing abuse and walk around the town.

The Swindon guys seem terminally AIMLESS. There's a small band of them desperate to do SOMETHING, and a huge chunk of the support that don't seem to care either way if their club lives or dies. Surely there's some local third-division punk living in a cave somewhere with a bit of fight left in them? Tho as I recall, nobody came from Swindon during the golden age of rebel music apart from the 'clever-clever' XTC, and they didn't have the slightest spark in them then, let alone now. Nope, unless somebody inthe Swindon ranks wants to get mad and then get even, then they would appear to be well and truly f***ed. Cos tho Swindon fans can count on the solid support of the Albion faithful who have been there, done that, in the end we're not Swindon fans. it's got to come from THEM. And I'm not that sure that enough of them care.

you've hit the nail on the head. it's a truly sorry state of affairs when our fans don't give a toss about the future of the club. if we do go to the wall, there's going to be a lot of town fans feeling rather sheepish about their apathy. for the most part people's militant tendencies have been curbed in order to keep things on the legal side but that time has probably passed now.

swindonseagull - you were acting like a cock and being deliberately provocative. i don't know who banned you, it wasn't me but gloating on a forum full of extremely angry and concerned swindon fans wasn't the brightest idea.

Excellent stuff, I'm in.

Now if I can just get the Mansfield site to activate me as well I'll be sorted.

I'm just there for a nose around, I don't intend posting anything :bigwave:

So Just because you are having a bad time we are not allowed to have a joke and take the piss, about a huge home defeat??

Its no wonder then that from a town of 155,432, you get an average crowd of 5000...I actually go to Swindon some saturdays just to watch live footie, its a good job the guys I go with can take a joke..

There is a huge difference between banter and gloating.

Remember South Stand Chat?

I got banned.

I made a voodoo doll for it, and stabbed it a lot, and presto.

Just be CAREFUL with Mr Hilter there, 'Sonny Jimbozza', or your board could be reduced to a boring cliquefest of 6 posters, ruled by that big bad bully-boy gayer Gimpster :lolol:

So what you're saying is...

Swindon has a population of c155,000, yet gets an average of 6814, whilst Brighton & Hove has a population of c250,000 yet gets an average of 6048.

You might be aware you've f***ed up making a point there.

Yes it was because I live in Swindon and I work with lots of Swindon Fans.

So I had every right to laugh at them.....Like I am now laughing at you being judgemental.

in other words.....Mind your own business.

So... Phil queries whether it's pleasant or wise to laugh at Swindon, and he gets told to mind his own business, and that you don't appreciate his opinion (not that he's offered one here).

If you're not prepared for an alternative opinion, don't post your puerile drivel on here. It's not rocket science.

I was amazed at the low level of protest/discontent at the county ground. My first thought was that all the doom and gloom I had heard about must have been exaggerated, but talking to a local after, he was telling me about emails going on DURING the game between the main protagonists who weren't actually there.

Good luck Swindon. I'm sorry to say that I'm not sure enough people care - even within Wiltshire.

We tried to join in the protest on Sat but the OB wouldn't let us past their line. Perhaps they were under instruction from Diamonte to prevent as many people as possible protesting.
