Currently drinking an Appleshed cider on Eastbourne Pier. First time and never even heard of it before today.

It's not a bad tipple at 4.8% and £4 a throw.

Looking on the wall opposite is the following quote by Frank Sinatra and something I've never seen or heard before.

" Alcohol maybe man's worst enemy but the Bible says love your enemy."

Well, I wasn't thinking about a beer today, but now I've seen this Bank holiday Mondat drinking thread, I'm off to Tesco for a few of these beauties.....

I find that quite surprising to be honest. It IS quite a famous pier, as piers go :moo:

I thought Eastbourne Pier was owned by a sheikh and is a "dry " pier apart from two high tides a day ?

I saw a Sheik on there once. I think it was a Milksheikh.

A pint of Draught Guiness Extra Cold in the Town House then four bottles of Goose IPA in the London & County.

Happy days.

Not embarrassed to say I’m working my way through a bottle of Seville Orange & Persian Lime Gin, from Aldi, with Fever Tree tonic. It is really good stuff, and great value....
