Ban Threat Lifted

Just seen a good interview on Sky Sports News with UEFA's Head Of Communications saying that the "yellow card threat over The FA has been lifted".

He praised us for mixing well which is great as I enjoyed meeting fans from other countries. Also he mentioned that all FA's were under scrutiny which was surprising. This will therefore be intersting to see how they deal with the knuckle-draggers with their racist chanting and extremist banners.

All in all, not bad.

UEFA would have no juristiction over the World Cup though bag. That'll be down to FIFA, wouldn't it?

They are and even came out and said if UEFA threw us out of Euro 2004 then FIFA would probably follow suit and kick us out of qualification for the World Cup.

Interestingly enough, our second qualifying match is against Poland where we have encountered problems in the past.
