Ban all Off Topic threads

Last night I overheard someone mention how rubbish NSC is becuase people talk about off topic things, and how crazy it was that a Brighton board should require a Brighton only section.

This got me thinking - he's right! Let's ban all off topic posts, so all we get are threads discussing formations, possible signings, recent perfomces and falmer. I mean, that's why we're all here isn't it? Who needs topics on news issues and recent events? In fact it's a shame we can't go back and wipe all the 11th September threads - they shouldn't have been on there for a start - or threads mentioning the NSC meet up - that's no tabout the Albion so shouldn't be on there. I'm a Brighton fan and I don't care about members of NSC having as beano.

Can you picture it? Thread after thread about defensive formations, potential strike partnerships and the Falmer inquiry. We'd be shot of all those threads in between which provide a few laughs and light relief when we've played a shocker and lost to a team 15 places below us in the league - who needs them? Let's wallow in our misery! Let's cheer oursleves up with constant debate on how we'll pull ourselves around for the next game - even though that conversation is exhausted after half a day!

we are a community who have many things to discuss during our work<cough>ing days, its the same for many other types of forums whether its PC games or Music.
Fact is there is not enough football chat to be had all the time, yeah you can talk footy down the oub and have a decent discussion on a topic, but during the night you'll talk about doing yer missus up the !

If this was for Brighton footy only talk then there would be about 20 regulars with about 10 posts per day and that would be boring. I like to think I've made friends by chatting on here and meeting them in real life, we're just aload of 'net geeks/mates having a laugh with various topics of discussion....dont change a thing I say.
