'Baker Out' signs at Lewes Bonfore Night?

Before anybody gets carried away, IMO it is pointless to try a protest on the 4th at Lewes as it will not get noticed. This year is the 400 anniversary of the bonfire plot and there will be thousands and thousands of people, thereby impossible to get noticed.

I'm sure one of the societies has something planned re. Baker as believe it or not we have many sympathisers in Lewes

It's actually the 401st. But that aside, the fact it is on a Saturday will mean a huge crowd and it will be very hard to make an impression.

Not everybody hates the pope either so I don't think that's any reason not to do it.

I think if we have any opportunity we should do it. There may well be loads of off comers there but I am sure the message will get through. We have to use any opportunity we can get.

One of the main effigies (Commercial Square I think) last year was a 20ft tall grotesque Norman Baker strangling a blue & white striped Seagull. Keep up at the back.

Norman Baker is grotesque at the best of times.
