This. I fly a couple of times a month on average, mostly with BA. Have had one or two incidents over the years (nothing remotely this serious thankfully). The calmness of the pilots is incredible.
As above, it's a very safe way to travel and things like this don't really bother me. Your chances of being on the exact flight that something like this happens to are tiny.
