I'd think Wieffer, Ayari, MOR, Hinshelwood and Gomez are all pretty similar and vying for same MF berth.

Wieffer and Hinsh offer more flexibility and can play RB and are arguably better than Ayari and MOR (Gomez too soon to tell)

So agreed, could be likely MOR is first in line for the flick, but I'd hope we keep Yasin as he's been very good in some games.

I can't believe this either. But he is very young. A development loan could be an option. The bottom line (especially if this Morrocan & Milner sign) is that we have too many midfielders.

A loan for Ayari would be pointless.He is clearly at EPL standard already so no gain for either club or him. We have no record of sending successful players on loan after a brilliant season.

I think that MOR isn’t needed now as he wants to play as a No8 and we have better options such as Ayari, Hinshelwood, and Gomez.
MOR is wanted by clubs abroad ( Roma included) and potentially Everton.

I’m sure we’ll want to keep Ayari as I can only see his value increasing. MOR less so.

Maybe Wieffer is being seen as the first choice right back for next season, and so another body in midfield is required.

If we're moving to a back 3 then Minteh/Solly/Lamptey is more than enough RWB depth (albeit playing much higher for Minteh), then the RCB plays in more of a wide center back role

I get the impression Ayari is very much the sort of player Hurzeler likes, both in playing style and attitude, and he's backed him from the start. Would be very surprised if he leaves for that reason.
