I think you are absolutely right on this. You can see this clearly in his showreels.
RDZ loved one touch passing. In fact, I'm sure he drilled the team to pass as their first movement when receiving the ball. This guy does not do that at all, no wonder he was sent on his travels!
He shows a lot of movement around the pitch slotting into different forward positions when he presses forwards which FH clearly loves. It also looks like he has brilliant touch and technique. What impresses me is when he dribbles towards (what looks like) low block defences. He attracts opposition players and pulls them out of their defensive positions by driving at them with pace. He can then offload the ball effectively. His shooting does not seem up to scratch however but I suspect he'd play quite deep (alongside a Baleba or Wieffer) and take up positions on the wing or attacking midfield so others can get in the box in better shooting positions.

Still confused about your point. O Riley , Cashin, Wieffer and Kadioglu were all 23 when we signed them in last 12 months.Well, we've gone for a Milner or a Lallana but not for 23-24 year olds as our main targets before. And yes, I know you like to pick holes!

He’s got a great engine, positionally versatile, tall and a good athlete. Perfect Fab player. He’ll be coming expecting decent minutes so god knows where everything is fitting in. We are bound to sign more as well.

Quite. If this transfer is true, on the face of it, seems puzzling as we have so many midfielders already.
Unless existing players are leaving of course..

The five subs rule which FH utilises to great effect most games will give plenty of game time to most if they play like he wants them to. Some may start one game, be subs in another.
He sounds like a perfect fit for our midfield
Oh so he's the Pedro replacement (imo). Pedro will never be a striker, this fella seems more relaxed in the winger/AM role. Tricks aplenty.

from that montage I can see plenty of similarities when he’s running with the ball. Less greedy too, seems to have an eye for a great attacking pass.I am now 100% on board with this signing, make it happen!

He was excellent for Angers in Ligue 1 before joining OM. I wouldn't dismiss him for not doing well for Marseille - many good players have failed there.
