To be fair OM’s transfer business has been a bit erratic under RDZ - he’s had the board’s backing but chose to sell or freeze out several of his own signings after only half a season.

I think you are absolutely right on this. You can see this clearly in his showreels. He isn’t a RDZ type player, id say.
Athletic and a ball carrier whereas Roberto wants players who are very technically good , good passers.
Still confused about your point. O Riley , Cashin, Wieffer and Kadioglu were all 23 when we signed them in last 12 months.Well, we've gone for a Milner or a Lallana but not for 23-24 year olds as our main targets before. And yes, I know you like to pick holes!
One or two examples don't disprove the generality!
Maybe he should go and work for a club where he doesn't have a huge say in selecting who gets signed. To be fair OM’s transfer business has been a bit erratic under RDZ - he’s had the board’s backing but chose to sell or freeze out several of his own signings after only half a season.
That seems out of character for RDZTo be fair OM’s transfer business has been a bit erratic under RDZ - he’s had the board’s backing but chose to sell or freeze out several of his own signings after only half a season.
YepHe was one of the best players at the last world cup. Think he's going to be a very decent squad player, sounds like a clever signing to me.
It's going to be quite a feat keeping all these midfielders happy.
Unless the club thinks we might be playing in Europe after all........Quite. If this transfer is true, on the face of it, seems puzzling as we have so many midfielders already.
Unless existing players are leaving of course..
The five subs rule which FH utilises to great effect most games will give plenty of game time to most if they play like he wants them to. Some may start one game, be subs in another.Quite. If this transfer is true, on the face of it, seems puzzling as we have so many midfielders already.

He sounds like a perfect fit for our midfieldI His shooting does not seem up to scratch however
Oh so he's the Pedro replacement (imo). Pedro will never be a striker, this fella seems more relaxed in the winger/AM role. Tricks aplenty.
