O Riley was 23, Ferdi and Wieffer were 24 when we signed em. They’re young players let alone Minteh, Yalcouye, Georginho, Baleba etc So far this summer we’ve signed 2x 19 year olds (Watson, Tzimas) , close to signing a 18 year old (Kostoulas) but yep potentially a 27 year old (Boscagli on a free).

To be honest I see this as a positive.

Last couple of seasons we've had very few players in the 25-30 year range. This became an issue where we picked up injuries to the senior members of the squad and the kiddos were out there without enough leaders on the pitch.

If we can pick up some players who are in their prime on the cheap, it's a good thing to me, and will only help their development.

Well yes. Just a raised eyebrow at your suggestion that we'd "cast aside" buying young(er) players.
We've also supplemented that with the likes of Estupinan, Igor, and (of course Milner) in recent years so bit of a stretch to argue "all change" on basis of interest in a 25 year old.

He was the best player for my team this year (on loan), we tried to keep him but only for way less than 11.5M euro it could have been possible.
On a good day he is excellent, very creative, can pass, can score. There were days though were he would disappear (I blame the quality of our shitshow League though)
Still the best player we had this year together with Vagiannidis. He doesn't deserve to play in the Greek League.

To be fair OM’s transfer business has been a bit erratic under RDZ - he’s had the board’s backing but chose to sell or freeze out several of his own signings after only half a season.

Well, we've gone for a Milner or a Lallana but not for 23-24 year olds as our main targets before. And yes, I know you like to pick holes!
One or two examples don't disprove the generality!

He isn’t a RDZ type player, id say.
Athletic and a ball carrier whereas Roberto wants players who are very technically good , good passers.
