The tour company have now run two trips to Azerbijan with Wales so they know what to expect and have experience of dealing with the hotels etc so should be a good trip.

No, the Visa is about another £25 on top.

I am on this trip, I did look at going out on my tod, but the saving was so little and I would have had to change in Prague or Moscow, that I decided to go with this.

It should be a laugh, have a mate working for BP in Baku, so instant tour guide and there is an Irish Bar and Curry House in the centre of the place.

Well gather a load of money to 'sort some visa's' for them and then bunk off to Baku. As you will have to get a visa to get there, technically you were not lying to them...
