Possibly, but if I was running the relevant department at the council, I'd be taking more cars to the pound and collecting higher fees. I noticed this on the BBC earlier and was going to post a similar thread. Makes you wonder what the Police have done to warrant them being banned from the database although I wonder if it has much effect on their operations as I would have thought most of their intel comes from the Police National Computer.

The police don't give out parking tickets, so that won't have made any difference.

I'm more concerned that DVLA sell your details to anyone with £2.50 !
