why are pictures for avatars so hard to find ?

why does it have to be 105 by 105 pixels ?

any one know where I can find some decent pictures for an avatar that is small enuf ??

google, and look underneath and it will have the pic size. if you still cant find one, go to google, then images, search for something (e.g. Football) and then go to advanced image search at the top above the search bar. then go to size and select "small". This should give you some pics around the 105x105 size.
