I wouldn't have given him that long.
My appetite is suitably whetted after Friday night even though I managed to miss 2 of the 3 goals and barely saw the other, just catching the ball crossing the line.
I'm hopeful rather than confident of our chances. I very much believe it's perm 3 from 13 when it comes to relegation. Last season illustrated that regardless of how long you've been in the Premier League, and regardless of how much you are considered to be part of the mid-table mediocrity zone, you just never know. Swansea, West Brom and Stoke had spent 24 seasons in the Premier League between them, with the latter two looking very settled.
It really doesn't make much of a mis-step for it all to crumble and a club be flushed back down to the Championship.
