Collectively Russians it seems have no shame. Even when confronted with overwhelming evidence of its state sponsored universal cheating, lying, interfering and intimidation the Russians still ridiculously claim it is all lies and that someone else is responsible and they are innocent. What a country of utter bellends, Russia is a cancer against fair play. They are a nation of compulsive liars, they lied in Ukraine, at FIFA, in Syria, at the Olympics in fact in any international event of sport or politics you can count on the Russians to just lie out of their arses, it seems to be a national disease.

How anyone can support the next World Cup there I cannot fathom, I will not have anything to do with it I couldn't care less if England make the final, its completely worthless.

I think we are approaching this from the wrong angle, Seb Coe says he prefers " engagement " instead of sanctions such as bans against offending athletes and athletics associations. So, how about bribing the Russians NOT to take drugs ? It's a language they understand and is negotiable depending on the level of competition. That way Mr Putin can be seen as a strong man( who has not taken steroids) at home in Russia and on the world stage and it brings in valuable foreign currency. It's a win - win !

Have corrected that for you El Pres.

True Q.

Have I told you the story about when I was taken out one night by Marina, a six foot tall blonde former member of their female Olympic rowing squad?

Never has a man been so out of his league.

I'm still waiting for Russia to follow the Sepp FIFA line now that Lord Coe is in charge. Its England they're bad losers.

So destroying test results etc. It just smacks of the cold war days when all Soviet block sports were using drugs to dominate.

Remember all those Russian laptops used during the 2018 World Cup bid process that were conveniently (for some unspecified reason) "destroyed" once the investigation was underway into that whole stinking carve up ?

Most Russians I have encountered are arrogant filth with an overwhelming sense of entitlement, a law unto themselves. You've only got to spend a few days in an all-inclusive resort with them to know that.

Rhttps://www.google.co.uk/Russia is a country entirely infected with lying, cheating, corrupt bullies. Hardly surprising given that the country is effectively governed by a form of state mafia with its biggest gangster as head of state.

It's not really that different to here then is it?

Holidaying Russians seem to be a particularly foul breed. But for balance it's not like Brits have a great rep on holiday, and few things upset the natives of India like a group of travelling Israelis fresh out the army.
For further balance I know a couple of very nice Russians. Though I have had sex with one of them so maybe dont trust my judgement.

The whole world of sport, (athletics, cycling, swimming, football, any sport you care to mention), has become so commercialised it seems rather pointless to talk of such things as banned substances.

Just let them get on with it - it would make the whole industry far more "honest" and those taking part less likely to be lionised.

I'm slightly surprised you're surprised. It's what all people like that do when caught, they just deny. Like Sepp Tw@, and Lance Armstrong. Just deny it.

What a country of utter bellends
That's unfair. Their leaders aren't even democratically elected, so it's a bit harsh to judge the people on the actions of the dictators.

And tell young people that if they want to be like their heroes, they should take drugs and to hell with the consequences. Not the best plan.

Mrs V was on holiday in Sharm el Sheikh earlier this year, she said there were loads of Russians and they were pretty awful to be around, the Egytians didn't care for them either.

I've encountered them in Egypt and Turkey (twice), and on each separate occasion they have proved to be thoroughly obnoxious. Queues do not exist, they get what they want by being rude, loud and boorish, and they have no concept of consideration for other holidaymakers. I realise many Brits abroad could adequately fit this description as well in some resorts, but in the all-inclusive resorts I've been to over the last few years, the Russian tourists are the ones who consistently stand out as being the most unpleasant. They carry an astonishing superiority complex and sense of entitlement over everyone else, they really genuinely do not give a shit.
