Because he is not Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, David Beckham or Joe Cole. They get first dibs on any atacking midfield roles until 2012.

i really don't know where to start when naming my first choice england team anymore... i just think ashley young should be given a fair chance after consistent performances for villa...

Also would allow Joe Cole to move to the right and solve the problem on that side also that Bentley and Beckham currently don't seem up to
