I'm only saying that so I get proved wrong, happens a lot. We need to get through at least a session and a half.

Has anyone noticed that the Aussies look a bit tired all round a the moment? Lee and Tait both tire quickly and They've only got Kasper after that.

Vaughan remarked that he needs his big match players to put their hands in the air and contribute. If one of these boys at the crease could bag a ton we'd be looking good.

I had a good feeling about Vaughan in the last test, I've got a good feeling about Pietersen in this match.

Pieterson does look good, I just hope Freddy can keep him in check. These two could be VERY dangerous against this attack.

It's very exciting because this, I suspect, could be the pivotal day of the Ashes series. Today's play could mark the turning of the tide in world cricket...or another England false dawn.

Drinks - 286/5 so 57 runs and 1 wicket, fairly even morning then.

76.5 Kasprowicz to GO Jones, FOUR, like an obese midget, too short and
too wide, Jones sees it early and cuts with power to the cover-
point fence

:lolol:

297-5

HAHAHA

Jones is starting to cement his place in this side. His batting is coming along leaps and bounds. Now for the glovework.

That's the new ball flying about then..

82.6 Tait to Flintoff, FOUR, again short, again Flintoff has no problems
going back and pulling. Expensive over from Tait
82.5 Tait to Flintoff, no run, just short of a good length and outside
the off, left alone to the keeper
82.4 Tait to Flintoff, FOUR, Tait overcompensates this time and
overpitches on off, driven strongly past mid-off
82.3 Tait to Flintoff, FOUR, short one this time and Flintoff swivels
and pulls with great power well in front of square
82.2 Tait to Flintoff, no run, just short of a good length and outside
the off, a bit of away swing, left alone
82.1 Tait to GO Jones, one run, short and a bit of width, cut away
through point

A great morning for England, Flintoff and Jones have had another good partnership together, we need to keep it together for the first hour after lunch then turn the screw.

Unfortunately Jones has always been one to get himself out after a break. Hopefully we can hold it together.
