Not really as you are guaranteed 100% non stop cricket on sky, you don't have to find film four when the horse racing comes on

Yes I will. The likes of Nicholas, Athers, Boycott, BENAUD, Simon Hughes and Slats are far more objective than those at Sky and seem to have much more passion for the game. They are part of the reason why this series is so popular

Holding and Botham bore the arse off me.

It's not as if finding FilmFour is difficult now is it.

The only decent sky commentator is Michael Holding, the rest are absolute wank i have to say.

Channel 4 is the daddy of cricket coverage, each and every member of their team has something different to offer where as sky is just bland and boring apart from Holding.

I will miss Mr Benaud the most.

As I don't have Sky I'll miss be able to watch it. Simple as that.

I like the whole channel 4 team (yes even Boycott and Greig) they are all both knowledgable and passionate about the sport.

And that super slow mo camera that they have for this series is f***ing awesome aswell. The shot they showed yesterday of the effect on the bat when Strauss was defending a Lee delivery was amazing.

I'm dissapointed you have to have money to watch cricket in future - we're lucky we can afford Sky at home - but thats not the point - it should be on free to air......available for the masses!! shame money always gets in the way...

Just as cricket was beginning to take off big time once again in this country, all those future England stars whose parents can't afford sky will now just give up and find soemthing else to do.

'not being able to afford sky' ?

tale one look around any council estate / block of flats -
f***ing sky dishes everywhere.

i too hate to see the cricket go to sky, but don't start pretending that the masses won't be able to see it, because they will.

Cricket is shit apart from The Ashes - So is Golf & Tennis apart from The Ryder Cup & Wimbledon.

All good fun to play though.

I was thinking about getting rid of sky but loosing the cricket means I need to re-consider.
