Def a pen will be a very interesting 2nd leg, 2-1 The Gooners, last minute goal to bury the goast of the Chelsea debarcle last year!

Puyol just stood his ground, and as Fabregas went to shoot he made sure his leg got caught. No foul for me. If a foul was called it had to be a red card though.
I would have won £20 too

I think it was a pen after looking at it a few times. It was a clever tackle, which went wrong! But, would not have be suprised if it was not given.

My first instinct was penalty, so I would have given it.
However after seeing the replays I think it Wasn't a pen.
However nothing the ref did wrong, at the time it looked a penalty.

It seems 14 of the resident Spurs fans have cast their votes :lolol:

Arsenal's European sojourns must really stick in their craw, bitter? Oh no not Spurs fans

Sorry to be brutal on this, but anyone who is saying it's not a penalty either wasn't watching the game or is a complete numpty who doesn't know the rules of the game...

I'm not a fan of Arsenal, but I'm staggered as to how anyone who has watched football can say it wasn't a penalty.

Fabregas had absolutely no reason whatsoever to go down in the area as he was one on one with the Barca keeper and he would have scored (hence the Puyol red card).

For once, in the game last night, the referee got it absolutely spot on in my opinion.
