Keeper: I might quit Seagulls !

Ross Flitney has expressed uncertainty over his future at Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Argus revealed yesterday that the Seagulls are recalling Michel Kuipers from his loan spell at Hull because of a back injury to keeper Ben Roberts.
Flitney, who was signed on loan from Fulham when Kuipers left for Hull, made his debut in Tuesday's 1-0 home win against Chesterfield.
The 19-year-old said: "I don't know how serious Ben's injury is. My loan runs out a week on Friday, but I haven't had any discussions with the gaffer yet.
"Maybe I will stay or maybe it will be time to go back to Fulham."

This story is actually about Flitney not sure whether he will be kept on at the end of his loan spell.

But of course anybody with a knowledge of Albion affairs, knows we have 2 top quality keepers on our books and one is out on loan, one is injured, rumours of Kuipers wanting to stay at Hull etc.

Any Argus columnist please tell me where in this story it says

I Might / Will / am considering , Quiting / walking out / leaving

This is possibly the worst piece of Journalism I have seen in gthe last 3 years. It is not that it is making a lot of

  :censored:

It's complete and utter b@ll@cks

He's loving his time at the Albion and will definately extend his loan if Kuipers goes back to Hull.

Obviously if Kuipers remains with us then Flitney is no longer needed and he'll go back - but that's just common sense and is no way him "quitting" the albion.

It looks like the Argus is trying to suggest that he's had a fit of pique after Kuipers was recalled, believeing that he should have kept his place for Saturday - but he ain't no prima-donna... he knows the score.

I say sign Flitney as reserve keeper and bring him up to play in a couple of years as Roberts/Kuipers aint getting any younger. He looked good the other night and hes only 19.

Meopham, Kent.
Just read that, and my reaction was the same. Once again Naylor thows in a totally inappropriate "scare" headline which doesn't reflect the actually story at all.

Anyone see the "Coppell Heart Scare" headline a few months back? A story followed when an irregular heartbeat showed up on a medical report in his playing days at Man Utd.

Absolute disgrace.
