Argus letters

There's a great letter in today's Argus from a chap in Pontipridd.
He says that it would be obscene to destroy the village of Falmer
with a nightmare of hideous proportions.He also suggests that
the stadium should be built instead of a new west pier to control any hooliganism.

Do you think he's escaped from somewhere?

It really shows the quality of the Argus that they give space to these nutters. Who gives a shit what someone who hasn't lived in Brighton for 30 years thinks about local planning issues.
In place of the west pier? What is he talking about? Are we supposed to moor it just of the coast and pull it onto the beach for fixtures?
