I shook his hand outside the North stand that day. I was 15. He said to me " you're a very cheeky young man aren't you?" as I shoved my way to the front. Starstruck or what?

Yep, I was there. 40 years ago though, wow doesn't time fly. Remember that eight goal drubbing as I walked out from my South Stand season ticket (wooden bench) seat at half time in disgust. Sat at Hove station for an hour waiting for a train.
