Just a small piece in the back of the paper..

Albion are looking both at home and abroad for a new goalkeeper.

Targets include Gornik Zabrze's Polish Under 20 international Lukasz Skorupski, who is also on the radar of Spurs and Newcastle and is wanted by German club Borussia Moenchengladback.

Skorupski, 21 tomorrow would prefer a move to England but Poyet may regard him as too much of a gamble.

Another nationality to add to the ever-growing list. Get. Him. In.

Also, given the other clubs rumoured to be interested in him, he may actually be quite good.

Good to see that as well as being a SKI, he also has an East European crewcut - it's no good signing flairniacs if they don't conform to racial and national stereotypes.

Polish blokes tend to be UNITS due to a childhood of beetroot and benchpressing tractors.

He gets my vote.

Exactly.

Also, he'll be prepared to work for a quarter of the wages an English keeper would want, and he'll be happy to save costs on away trips by sleeping on the floor in someone else's room.

On the basis of his name and that photo, we should sign him up at once.

The fact that he's probably quite good if the other teams mentioned are looking at him is of secondary importance.

20 years old. Only played a handful of games plus a few at the next level down - would be a back-up at best and sensibly you would probably look to loan him out for at least a season to get match experience.................... a clear sign that we might be looking at a wholesale clearout at the back but Skorupski is not a serious contender for those seeking our next starting keeper :nono:

We need him for definite and he can sort out any plumbing issues at the Amex in his spare time

Stand up straight man!

Seriously though, he is rather inexperienced. He wouldn't come in as first choice by the look of how few games he's played in Polish football - how strong is their domestic league?
