Typical of the ArseGas. Why do they bother to print such rubbish?

FFS does being an Albion fan exclude you from having a sense of humour? No idea what the letter says but I will be amazed if it's not a piss take

Some very good letters in there today, very balanced I thought. There was a groundswell of "leave Prescott alone" type feelings but one bloke suggested we share with Whitehawk and redevelop Sheepcoate Valley.

Also some bloke suggested that Falmer Village was a blot on the landscape as the area it was built on was an AONB in the past:lolol:

Typical of small minded scum fans to write in in the first place.

I hope the Arsegas only printed it to show Croydon residents for what they are-bitter, twisted, small minded cretins.

It's from someone in St Leonards who said that we should close the Albion. It wouldn't be that much of a loss and no-one would miss it. We should instead concentrate on supporting non-league football in Sussex, like Crawley Town and Eastbourne Borough. Dick Knight needs to have the courage to indulge in a mercy killing - and move on.

These people are just idiots. The Argus has obviously trawled up a couple of letters to attempt to give both sides.

Not sure why this thread should be attributed to Palace. Any decent Palace fan (and, yes, there are many) would want Brighton to get a ground they deserve.

Oh! What a good idea Mr Broughton, lets close down the Albion and split the fans between Crawley and Eastbourne Borough. Now let's see there were 30000 at Cardiff so if an extra 15000 go to each of their games next week, Oh! we can't get them all in, we will have to build bigger stadia, Oh! there's nowhere to build them. Wait a minute............

Should probably substitute "this city" for "St Leonards" in this case.
Sentence still makes very good sense, though. . .

Well, whatever that letter said, it's certainly got you lot talking. I expect the Argus published it just to show what idiots some people can be. I think I'd publish a letter like that if I was the editor, right next to well argued letter as to why Falmer must be approved and the other sites aren't viable.
