Nah.

To be fair, this is an Albion dinner for the players, management and staff. I think having a load of fans there is a bit daft.

Playing snooker
I went a few years back when Lush organsied a couple of tables.
Memories of the night are fairly errr, 'hazy' but I do remember spending the night at After's house.

After's managed to lose his house keys somewhere between the Grand and Hove, meaning we had to stand on the pavement at 2:30am on a Monday morning and shout for the beautiful Anne  to come down and let us in. She wasn't impressed

After's: Ah, hellooooo darling; I've loscht m'keez *hic*
Anne:  :censored:

Unmarvellous scenes!

If people want to spend £55 a head, it seems a bit unlikely that they're going to spend that amount of money then get thrown out for acting a twunt.

It was a nice bash when I went - having a chat with Danny Cullip etc. - but £55 plus booze is quite a lot of dosh for a night out, in my case.

On a train...
I've been a couple of times to the Xmas party when it was held at the Grand.

It's not quite the same appeal at the Metropole is it?
