I see geeks as those passionate about something that requires them to know all the details of things. We know dates and times and heights and measurements (Gunter and Rougier spring to mind). We know who signs for third division clubs that we don't even care about.
We know the dates of album releases and get obsessive about what was on the B-side of certain records. We ask tricky questions aboutthe number of England internationals who have christian names as surnames.
Whether we be techies or not, we're geeks.

Or, i am anyway. Its about the only thing that makes me truly male.
