Wow first ever NSC post  i've spent about 20 minutes trying to think of something to say that won't result in me getting slated :)

Anyways. I've been 'lucky' enough to have a season ticket for the last 8 or 9 years or so and have thoroughly enjoyed watching Albion up till the last couple of seasons. I feel that we are lacking a leader who will get the players going because bar fozzy and michel I don't think I have heard anyones voice this season. This may well contribute to why we concede so softly as there is little communication between the players and just somebody telling them to watch their man may just help concentration or something. We also desperatly need a creative central midfielder who can turn and play the ball forwards as its so frustating watching us passing the ball backwards every time we look to have taken the initiative. Maybe someone like George O'Callaghan but only aslong as theyre not a gobby twat.

To a certain extent, but lacking competent footballers is more of an issue - we only have about 3.

We have a team full of competant footballers. Unfortunately, we also have a team lacking in characters, or so it would seem from the outside. How many times did Slade refer to the dressing room being "quiet" when he first took over here? I deffinitely think we're lacking characters, we need one hell of an extrovert on that pitch to get stuck in.

Is Robbie Savage still available?

Out of our current squad its probably just Mcnulty Dicker Bennett Murray and Forster who would be valuable assets to a side looking for promotion from this division.

Just out of interest, and without wanting to sound patronising, do you watch us regularly?

From what i've seen the last few months, only Bennett, Forster, and Murray are anywhere near good enough, and perhaps McNulty (depending on his dfending). Actually, going to start a poll on this I think.

??? Are we all expected to be disrespectful cynical moaners? There's very little wrong with the majority of the individuals we have, and they're certainly no worse than the squad we were beaten by on saturday. They're just not playing well, collectively, at the moment. But I'm sure slagging them off and criticising all the time helps.

I found the chorus of "Albion, Albion" after the defeat saturday incredibly ironic, given that alot of those singing it were probably planning their criticisms for NSC.

there is a huge difference between a cynical moaner and in your case a blind optimist fact is the side is somewhere inbetween the two. The table on the other hand does not lie.

Someone in midfield good hard tackler and good distribution another "Nobby" would be nice now he was a "gobby twat" but the sort you could only admire
