Erdzatly.

For what it's worth, I'd put the away fans under fluorescent lighting. Or strobe lighting.

I must admit, The colour of interior lighting hadn't even crossed my mind but I suppose i'd opt for projected blue and white stripes all around the stadium.

What if their team wears black? Are they going to have to feel their way round the stadium in the dark?

Can someone post this story?

Initially taken in by it (thinking it a fantastic idea) then realised it was April 1st, and now it's supposed to be true!?!?!!

Confucious reigns!

So if all the away fans are wearing yellow, and they have yellow lights, won't it lessen the effect somewhat rather than enhancing it?

Interesting. Most colours will appear white under the same colour light (yellow under yellow light, blue under blue light, etc. perhaps it will be a very effective way of turning the away section into a generic blandness.

I don't have a problem with it myself, since when is a team more likely to win because the area occupied by their fans is lit up tastefully in their home colours?

Anyhow, why not encourage bigger away contingents, it's all money in our coffers and it contributes to what I believe is called an "atmosphere".
