No. We just had a huge squad with lots of players who weren't ever going to be first team regulars for us - it needed trimming.

Outgoings were always going to be as, if not more, important to us this summer than in-comings.

For those of you concerned about the Albion and the number of players surplus to requirements I refer you to Southampton.
