Ignore everyone else on this fred they are living in denial we are doomed I tell you, doomed. If you are quick they are selling off the last of the U23s from Tony's boot on the layby by Falmer station.

Seems to be a bit of a fire sale going on this summer, with the club desperate to get players off the books....

We took a £37m loan out recently and the Amex expansion has been postponed. Bloom’s key businesses was said to be commercial property and sports gambling both of which have been hit very hard by COVID

Everyone knows we lost a whopping £67m last season, are we in a bit of trouble?

So when are you coming back to explain how commercial property and sport gambling income have been hit very hard with some examples and how Mr Bloom is hiding in a bunker somewhere with a tin foil hat on and not using his abilities to spot money making opportunities during the pandemic. It wouldn't surprise me if his wealth outside of football has increased TBH.

No, but we’re relatively frugal i.e. we know we can dine at all but the most expensive restaurants but perhaps prefer to go bin-dipping round the back. Let’s face it, this industry is full of waste and overpriced nouveau cuisine. Plenty of mugs have paid millions for a Pot Noodle including us!

We aren't that frugal (or broke) if we can spend £7 million on a kid and send him straight out on loan before he has even got in the country.

We're obviously not broke, but - as the club have highlighted several times - we are on a route to financial sustainability (ie, we spend what we earn, and don't rely on TB to fund our losses). Just a cursory look at our accounts for the years 18/19 and 19/20 shows that there was a net cash outflow of £100m over those two years. A period BEFORE the real impact of Covid hit. The Ben White sale was a big boost to that sustainability in the short term, but it's a long haul.

Not helped by the chairman spouting off about being top ten . Not this season that’s for sure .

Unless him spouting off was to send a message to a centre forward that he was being chased by a top 10 side rather than a relegation battler
