Are the French being secretly coached by McGhee?

It certainly had a sniff of it …. Anyone else felt reminiscences of our Play-off semi final?

Was gutted by the result this time, but there was a certain irony following our own gubbing of Swindon!

More like he's been coaching the English... with that defensive performance in the second half!

8 players on the edge of the box, in two ranks... and then hoof it up to a large ponderous forward, and a nippy little one who doesn't seem to get involved much.

Wave, after wave, after wave... it had equaliser written all over it. That would have been OK - but to concede a second in stoppage time was very disappointing.

Very true .... including the 60 yard gap between midfield and the front two!

I wonder if McGhee enjoyed the England defeat. If he is a true Scotsman I'm sure he would have been rooting for the French :dunce:

On NSC for over two decades...
Just goes to show that immitating the Albion is a dangerous game. We've had years of practice in that tactic, and have THREE TROPHIES as a result. England have only just adopted the tactic...., and require more practice.

:lolol:

If you're looking for evidence of funny coaching, I'd say that there are a load of NSC Users who have been taking lessons from Swindon fans about how to whinge about a result.

Or even mixed loyalties .... just take a trip to our good friends from Wrexham's website Red Passion .... the Welsh are also getting off on the result!!!

I don't think most people are whinging about the result... certainly not me. I don't think we were 'unlucky' or 'the better team' as the Swindon faithful and management were so persistently protesting.

The only criticism I've made is of the negative attitude in the second half. Having played well in the first half, passed the ball around well - we resorted to 8 man defence and hoof it up to the big fella in the second half.

With players of their speed and calibre... it was a pretty painful thing to watch. And as I sadi 'disappointing', not 'unfair' or 'a travesty of justice' or any other Swindonesque whinging.
