ive just read that lehman twisted his ankle in the 1st half yesterday, he must have done that when he was picking the ball out of the net :lolol:
untrue... he twisted his ankle just b4 kick off, when he went to his goal. he had a few sidesteps and a jump to get loose basically, but somehow he pulled a muscle or something at that point.

if lehmann wasnt fit, we just would have put kahn on, doesnt matter really, both are world class.

loved Phillip Lahm's goal last night. he is a bright lad as well, in interviews he is so down to earth, like the neighbour's boy really. and besides the goal, i thought he had a good game anyhow.

Ryan Wilson(Giggs). Born and bred in Manchester to an English father and a Welsh mother. Chose Wales when his Dad divorced his Mum. Bad choice if you ask me, never got to play in any World Cup Finals.

Why does this come up with such regularity? Giggs was born in Cardiff to Welsh parents and Welsh grandparents. He moved to Manchester when he was 7; he didn't choose to play for Wales: it's the only country for which he is qualified to play.

Then how did he get to play for England at youth levels?
