It helps the overall Premier League coefficient (ensuring we solidate our automatic qualification into the League stage for both CL and EL for a few more seasons at least). But as for the extra Champions League spot that won’t be effected as it’s based purely on performances in next seasons competitions.

As Spurs could be stinking out the Champions League next season it could be harder to get that extra place.
