So one game a season and a replica shirt.

Well done.

Still not your place to tell somebody to bin a compensation voucher, if they did get one.

Yes it is. Someone has to do it.

A little bit of inconvenience. Annoying, yes, but worth spending the club's money for? I think not. And opening a can of worms by the looks of it.

As much as you maybe use to preaching to people, in this instance it is not your place to tell somebody what they should do.

However carry on.

Funny that, but I thought the whole point of NSC was that it was somewhere people could come to voice their opinions. And my opinion is that at a time when the club is under financial pressure, the fans should do the honourable thing and say they appreciate the gesture and are grateful for the apology, but they would like the money to stay within the club. A heartfelt apology should be enough. Still, you folks keep taking your ten pieces of silver.

I'm sure the club will be making money out of this. I imagine the most popular item in the club shop are the replica shirts which cost £37.99. A £10 voucher will just encourage people to go to the shop and buy, say, a replica shirt. This will actually generate a profit for the club shop. (Let's face it, £27.99 more than covers the cost of the shirt, by quite a margin).

Do you honestly think the club would be giving out vouchers if they thought they were going to lose money? Highly unlikely.

Blimey, I thought I was accepting a small voucher as an apology from the club not sending 'The Messiah' to a hideous death.

Opinion on the team is one thing, telling people what to do with compensation vouchers is really none of your business.

Ah, you are the board's censor-in-chief now are you, telling us what we are allowed to have an opinion on and what we are not? Do be sensible.

Anyway, this matter DOES affect the team, I can't believe someone could be so stupid as to suggest it doesn't. :nono:

Shit I never looked at it like that..............................

You should see how many pieces I`ve ripped those vouchers into Juan.

Thanks for that . . . . . phew.

Top marks to the club for getting this out so quickly.

However I'm still mad about the whole episode. Particularly the fact that the decision to open the gates was made at 8 pm and not five minutes before kick-off.

ufd antone feels awkward about getting the shop vouchers, send them to me and i will dispose of them for you, in a respectable manner.

1x replica shirt, scarf, and some mugs should do it.

geez, people whinge about the delays, then feel fuilty about a gesture from the club.

Are you mad ?

Those 30 pound vouchers are worth about 8 pound to the club (the price they pay for a shirt )

Its ironic that they state in their letter that they are going to tighten up their act on ticketing then they send me double vouchers. :lolol:

Yeah, a couple of £10 vouchers (if they exist) are really going to affect the team.

Tell you what, why don't you attend a few more games, that will help reset the balance.

What a joke suggesting people should return their vouchers.

The club messed up and a lot of supporters suffered as a result.

It is only right that every single one of those supporters should be compensated.

The club is also not being stupid. Give everyone a ten pound voucher and most will put it toward buying something worth more than a tenner - like a shirt.

Therefore the club actually does some decent business in the club shop.

Went with 5 gold members and not one of them mentioned that untill I`d parted with my 8 quid for my sons shirt.

How they laughed.
