To its immense credit I got very tense as they descended to the surface of the moon, with fuel running out and alarms sounding...Also big kudos to the guy in mission control who wore a red shirt to everyone else's white shirt...

The moon would be a lot more exciting and worth exploring if it was more earth like, sea, forests, an atmosphere. It’s just rock and dust.

Hence we haven’t been back for decades. However the moon is relevant now as if we’re going to go further, the moon will need to be the launchpad.
