Why have all these winter storms suddenly got names, like storm Brigid? Is that to add a little extra drama to the occasion?
It needs to get a move on. In my experience once you hit late Feb it takes something very special to give decent snowfall
They can start off as Hurricanes in the Caribbean and South East coat of the US where they are named. We get whats left as they drift across the Atlantic. Storms that never gain Hurricane status are thus just unnamed storms.
Did we not have snow at Easter a few years back ? Can't remember the year but not that long ago.
They've started naming all of them - it's mental.
That's ridiculous. Where will it end ? "Today we are looking at Squall Frank leading up to Gale Esther and followed by Onshore Breeze Timothy....."
Winds of 150 mph constitute a little higher definition than " Gale ", surprised they missed that.
Wimps...150mph is a mild zephyr at worst.

I'm boarding up the windows right now. Not sure it'll be safe to go to Watford- anyone want a ticket?
Forget the Transfer Deadline debacle, the real fun is to be had on Worthing Weather. We only need just over 22mm of rain today to make 200mm for the month ! Will Worthing do it ? bring on the downpour !

Calm down dear, Sunday is going to be fine. If you don't want your ticket though.
