A bizarre way to follow a football match ... at a rehearsal for the Lewes Arms Pantomime, with an earpiece attached to the Radio Sussex commentary. The penalty shootout took place during a run through of the torture scene in which I was clapped in the manacles by two vicious members of the secret police. It's extremely difficult to concentrate on what's important, while your nadgers are being electrocuted and the director is expecting a perfectly delivered rendition of the lines.
