Anyone using IP Proxy software?

That's the view I have. Wondered if anyone had subscribed to one or had any experience of using them...

I subscribe to one called StrongVPN. I think its USD 55/year, works pretty welll for what I use it for. The only snag is there is a limited number of times you can change server per month, which is a bit of a disadvantage for me but might be ok for what you want to use it for. I often want to swap between UK, US, and Malaysian connections in order to access region-locked TV content. Their technical support is also quite good.

I also noticed a few months ago that using their VPN also bypassed the block which UK ISPs seem to put on certain websites, which might be beneficial for you also. Most of these VPN providers have a 30day free-trial so it might be worth a look-in.

Using Hola Unblocker [free with Chrome] to watch UK TV catch up sites [BBC-ITV-Channel4], seems to work fine.
