Anyone see this week's Sopranos?

Channel 4 decided to change the time this week, so my videotape ran out about 20 mins from the end.

The last thing I saw was Tony's father-in-law about to open his presents. What happened after that?

Tony gave his Father in Law a Berata shotgun and made the old man's day.
Carmela's mother spent all day sucking up to the snobby friend. Carmela had words with her about being ashamed of her guinea roots.
Tony and Carmela slept together.
Tony's cousin decided to accept the job and whacked some wiseguy and a whore, but got his feet run over.

Bloody hell, I missed a lot.

Who were the wiseguy and the whore and who ran over his feet?

Not sure who they were. You saw the wiseguy picking up a brown paper envelope in the brothel and then offers a girl a lift home. They go outside and get in his car. Steve Buscemi walks over to them and pulls a gun. The guy tries to drive off but is shot in the head, as is the girl. The car drives forward and crashes into the car parked in front. Steve Buscemi is so close to the car that it runs over his toes.

The hit is the one ordered by the New York guys he met in the restaurant, so the target may have been the girl rather than the wiseguy.

Yeah, I saw that bit. Just thought we'd find out who she was...no doubt it will be revealed next week.

Thanks for this. I went to bed really frustrated last night.

My understanding was that the whore was the target; but the wiseguy was the associate of what's-his-face who is making all the fuss about the car damaged in the crash/race with Tony (I think). I suspect that THAT is what will become the story.

No the wiseguy was the target. Tony S goes nuts when he finds out that Tony B did the whack and has stirred up shit with Johnny Sacks. However Tony is feeling guilty about Tony B doing 17 years inside and so forgives him and gives him a casino as a new income stream.

Carmela thinks initially that there is a chance of a resumption with Tony, but he does not bite, so she decides to divorce him.

Carmela tries to find an attorney to handle her divorce from Tony S, but they all wimp out when they find out Tony's background.

Tony has one of his panic attacks and collapses when out with Jonny Sacks.

Tony finds Meadows boyfriend a job working in construction, but the boyfriend then finds one of the mob men in a car giving a security guard a blowjob in a car. The boyfriend and Meadow then get engaged.

Yep that's spot on. The actual target was the hooker but instead of whacking her whilst she's alone Tony B (Bushcemi) foolishly decides to take her out when she's in the car with Phil's right hand man whose name escapes me. This is going to cause all kinds of trouble since Phil (grey haired chap) is one of Johnny Saks captains. Phil may think its related to Tony Soprano and the spat about the car repairs but more importantly Johnny Saks may think its something relating to the escalating trouble with Little Carmine.

Can anyone tell me why Ch4 tuck this awesome series away at such a late time? Rather presumptious that we've all got SKY huh!

The beauty of this show is how it can combine family affairs and relationships with the more usual extreme mob violence

This series my fave episode was the when Pauly got involved with the Lawn Mowing dispute. A real turf war!:p

Absolutely. It's a fantastic programme and there's no need for it to be on so late. 10.00 would do us.

BTW, what's happened to Pauly Walnuts - he hasn't been in it for a couple of weeks now?
