Popped in the Kings Head tonight for a couple of swift ones. Splendid new bbq they've got for the roof terrace - think Paul was looking to employ my grilling services. I certainly won't mind, long as I'm paid in BEER.

Jim was a LEGEND. Used to let us in and pour our own drinks while he f***ed off out and walked the dogs.

It went downhill for a while after he left, but the couple in there now have got the place BANG ON again. Nice kids, and that boxer dog is mental, slobbered all over my sleeve tonight.

Back from walking the dog & encountered 12 chavs outside Plaice in the Square ... they didn't look like soldiers to me but were speaking to two police officers. 'It must be boring being a copper' said one. Not very frightening at all.
