Southwick I always thought was a nice genteel place and now seemly there are gangs of 60 to 70 kids from 10 to 20 rampaging through the streets with knives and stuff and arranging "offs" with Fishersgate chavs and Shoreham Chavs.

This country is slowly following the example of all countries who one had great empires, ie Rome, in that it is falling into lawlessness and yobbery. And that is just Southwick

Southwick is full of this SCUM at the moment.

You go to the station around 7 or 8 on a Friday or Saturday night and like you said there are 40-50 of these kids everywhere.

I see they have graffitied (sp) parts of the Station threatening the Lancing BOYS!!! as well.

Also i really feel sorry for the owner of Huttons offy, they all congregate round there as well at the weekends.

The sad thing is that they are all pathetic little shits who only give it large when they are with 20 of their mates. I saw them all running around the park when the old bill turned up a couple of weeks ago. They are bullies and should be stopped. These chavs are becoming a serious menace between Aldrington and Lancing on the trains.

In Mile Oak, there was a banning order put into place and I think it was a curfew stopping groups of more that 3 chavs gathering after 9 o/clock.

It certainly seems to have worked as they have all dissapeared....of course they may all just be heading off to Southwick...LOL


I have got to the stage that I get a train to Hove after 9 if I am late from work and the Mrs picks me up from there. Portslade Station after 9 is full of unsavoury characters

That happens to be my pre-match watering hole. Although I'm getting absolutely sick to death with the "Sussex Reds" that festoon that place whenever Manure are on Sky, and then pretend to go mad whenever they score a goal, as if they're really THAT f***ing bothered about it, plastic wankers that they are.

Planned refurb, the Landlady was well pissed off over the timings of the work.

Apparently it will look nice, but for how long is anyone's guess.
