I think DR is questioning the fans' sense of match etiquette. For away games in London, is it not obligatory for our top boys to leave early enough to gather outside a nearby bus stop, ready to run like hell when the opposition top boys face up to them and it all kicks off? Everyone then meets up again at Victoria station to swap tales of derring-do in the face of the enemy.

I think that he is shocked that they are at a football match and aren't in their local pub watching on Sky with their half and half scarves, telling everyone how s*** football is these days
