Anyone lucky enuf to remember Britpop?

I know its a sign of gettin old wen u complain about todays music, but everytime i go to wrk i have to listen to the same 15 lowsy songs every hour on local radio. Just listening to some of the old bands from 90's now, shed seven, Black Grape, Cast.

Which was your fave band from the 90's??

I really liked Dodgy.

Homegrown and Free, Peace, Sweet were great albums.

I think I might be the only Dodgy fan in Australia though because nobody else ever seems to have heard of them.

Dance music was awesome around then especially progressive trance

Oasis and Super Furry Animals stand-out bands from the early / mid 90s for me.

Perhaps a sprinkling of Pulp as well. And of course Sleeper purely for WEENER.

In terms of the early 90's for dance the acid and funky house music is quality, the likes of altern8 and xpansions.
