Why hasn't all the shirts got sponsors on them?

Footballers weren't allowed to advertise until the late 70's I believe?

The club knew how ro rip the fans off even back in the early 90's

The only diffrence in our kits between 1989 and 1991 was TWO chuffing stripes on the arms

And we had TWO pink away kits in 90-91!!!

Don't know, but we wore the second of the pink kits for the play off final at Wembley, sure there must have been a good reason.

That shirt with the red stripes from the 1901-24 period is a myth, I'm sure.

TOFFS do a shirt with that design, yet going through Tim Carder's History of the Albion, the team photos don't appear to have this kit in any of their line-ups. Yeah, I know the pics are in black and white, but even then you can still tell it wasn't a red, white and blue.

goes well with blue? I'd quite like to see a bit of green in one of our shirts again soon, like the first ever Brighton kit ;)

I have a picture somewhere from about 1910, the team are in stripes but even though the picture is black and white the blue looks like a really pale shade, perhaps like we had more recently. I am sure that someone mentioned when the Argentinian kit came out that we had played in the same colours in the early days, which sort of backs up my opinion of the picture.

The first incarnation of a professional football team in Brighton played in green I believe.

I like the sound of that.

They could hide in the grass and then tackle the other team by supprise and score!
