Anyone in Newhaven / Peacehaven?

I need to get from Brighton out to Newhaven this evening and I see there are no buses past Arundel Road and no trains past Lewes is it really bad out there?

i ventured down to the one way system this morning and that looked ok ish.
however, my van is buried, no idea what the other side roads are like?

I've just driven from Saltdean to Seaford and back and the A 259 is drivable but all the side roads look bad.

The 12 bus is running from Brighton to Newhaven until about 6.30.
