was bugging me last night must've been early/late 80's, anyway this Ghost kept appearing in the gardens of this house and the next morning these silver emblems were found roughly where the Ghost was seen......thats all I remember!
As I was fairly young it cant of been late night stuff, maybe even a Kids TV programme (looked through 80snostalgia website but nothing)

Anyone aid me in this quest for the Ghostly Grail of TV?

It was probably one of those drama serials they used to do brilliantly, Leon Garfield books etc. I remember one set in a Victorian mill, full of innocent put-upon kids and evil mill owners. Great stuff.

Now I'm pondering your question....

I can remember the sort of program you mean, I recall one with a big old house that had a very scary tree in the garden (please note I am no longer affraid of trees).
