anyone got any frogspawn in their ponds

We have Toadspawn. Loads.
Have done last couple of years, it was frogspawn before that. But we don't seem to get both. Are they incompatible with each other?
We used to have newts, but haven't seen any for a while.
Maybe you can only get one life form at a time in a smallish pond?
So many questions.

As soon as I see it in my Koi pond I net it and get it our quick....dont want poxy frogs in the pond.
