for our dear departing President?

Will go down in history surely as one of the worst ever, ever, EVER.

 You won't be missed.

Couldn't possibly defend pretty much ANY of his actions, HOWEVER...

Don't be too sure on how history will judge Bush. For example, if certain political theorists are right and the next great conflict is Islam/West (i mean on a large scale), then Bush could well go down as the sensible realist, and Obama the 'appeaser'. Not saying I agree with that or think it will happen, but you can never how people in the future might interpret the actions of today, however ridiculous they may seem to us.

OUR departing president?? Nothing to do with me! A bit like Obama.

Getting a bit bored of all this Obama nonsense. As far as I can work out most peoples views seemed to be based on the fact that he is black.

Working on this theory get rid of Adams and stick Gary Coleman in charge, we'll be knocking on the door for the play offs quicker than you can "What you talkin about Dick Knight"!

Whether we like it or not America is still the most powerful single nation in the world (wait your turn, China) so it DOES (however minimally) affect all of us. I was being mock-friendly in using the words; "our dear departing president".

I have no control over who what why how happens in America, therefore it of very little interest to me. My life would have been no different if McCain won.

Nice to see the English are good and Parochial as ever. And we accuse American of being insular and unaware of the rest of the world. Like I said, however minimal it affects us all. If Bush hadn't come into power chances are we wouldn't be at war right now.

Arthur you probably have no control over probably a lot of things in your life that you have interest in (Films, Music, The Albion?).

Ain't got enough time? Are you a conspiracy theorist or?

Will do when the time arises.

I sat among men who defended you
sea to shining sea would turn red from blue
It never seemed that good a joke to me
when you began to talk about your legacy

When Saddam had his chips you were feeling made
Sending kids to die over a f***ing 'Crusade'
while you pointed fingers at future enemies
other people's children died doing as you pleased

No command of English, 'the chief' is a pose
Presidential father, Columbian up your nose
king's new clothes and you were just a fake
nowhere to be seen when the levees break

Fooling you once no-one can fool you twice
not to care as really you don't pay the price
Storm in the desert, New York's twins did pay
"I'm okay though, daddy's head of CIA"

Too late for a goodbye now you did your job
lastly backing Israel's murder while ex-mothers sob
Atrocity's another word you can't quite spell
but I pray the torture's shocking when you go to hell
