Im going. Apparently we've only sold around 400 tickets so far, and forest are gonna let us no on monday whether you'll be able to pay on the gate- although they reckon it will be due to the lack of tickets sold. (phoned the club shop y-day).
No idea on parking or getting there though im afraid!

yep off to it

if you take the nottingham signs on the a1 there are signs to the football and cricket ground from all slip roads to notts

there is plenty of parking the local factories let you park in there property for a fiver and its pretty safe there. you just need to driver around a bit

use the ones which have proper parking signs thought they have some one looking after the car park

Thanks for the tip off - I thought it would be pay on the gate as it was midweek. It never occurred to me it would be all-ticket. Now booked it!

Nottingham : My specialist subject.

I'm sure most directions will take you in via the A453. Don't do this whatever you do, especially if you are arriving in or around rush hour.

Best bet is to come off the M1 at the junction for the A46 towards Leicester. This will take you via dual carriageway all the way to the A606 which you should then follow to Nottingham. This road more or less takes you all the way to the ground. Follow the signs for West Bridgeford where you will find plenty of street parking.

There's plenty of places to go for a drink before the game. Hooters is popular for obvious reasons (just over the Trent bridge), the South Bank has Sky sports and the like and is always packed. Be warned though, they only like home fans so don't wear any colours if you wish to go here. If you want a quietish pint you will find me and several others in the Pearl which is part Chinese restaurant, part pub by the Co-op in Bridgeford with some mighty fine looking bar maids that my mates have tried and failed to pull over the years.

Another Pub is the Larwood & Voce which is about five minutes walk from the away end, on a street called Fox Road. A bit pikey but does do edible food.

They also do beer in the ground.

Last time we parked not far from Trent Bridge, and the boozers were EXCELLENT in that vicinity.

Cant make it this time, pity as I think its always a great atmosphere there.
