The due date for our 3rd child is the 27th May, she'll probably go into labour on the day we go to Wembley! Tough choice.....

I'm very cautiously optimistic, one game at a time etc. We should all be careful to avoid a repeat of last season's ridiculous complacency about the semi-final, many on NSC were already choosing their seat at Wembley!

Brighton / Hove actually
Of course if Gus was still manager then we would be in Leicesters position, logically there is one spare play off place as Leicester and Burnley will go up as top 2, QPR, Derby and Wigan are certainties now and that leaves us, Forest and Reading scrapping over one place

By his own admission he had reached his ceiling and said that chances like last season never come around often, so your statement is flawed.

There are still 11 games to go. Wigan may well have peaked too early. I see no point in worrying about who is in form now, when it could be another side altogether in six weeks' time. I'm not saying it'll be us by any means, but who's to say Reading, Derby, Forest or even Ipswich may not be the team in red-hot form who everyone is desperate to avoid by May?

Or like palace be out of form and win it . We were red hot going into them . Form means nothing in play offs

Get there then have decent chance

Our achievements so far this season, with our injury list, have been excellent. The thing which is very much in our favour is our brilliant defence. Admittedly, we probably only have one classy keeper but we have others who are interchangeable and all exceptional at this level: 2 x right backs, 2 x left backs and 3 x centre backs who would all be at home in any championship team and have proved capable against premiership opposition.

We have the best British find of the year in Ince and March could yet be the best player we have ever had. Our midfield is now settling and as much as I love him! We play better without Spanish Dave. Stephens is going to be a star.

Up front, we have so many options headed by Ulloah and there isn't a team in the league who relish Lua Lua coming on with 25 minutes to go just as they are getting tired. He is a game changer and strike fear into our opponents. We also have Hoskins and Makail-Smith to add some spark, fresh for the run in.

We may not make the play-offs but if we do, no one will want to play us. We will beat QPR 3-1 at Wembley with Hoskins scoring the 3rd!

:) Quality....I'm a massive Sparks fan, I remember seeing the joke but for some reason never kept it (!?) two little guys one with a perm and one with a tash watching the cabbie struggle to remove a suitcase from the boot, while planes took off in the background "When this thing gets out Sparks are gonna fly"

That's the fella! :lolol:

Well, not really. She's hardly going to be in a fit state to join you immediately after giving birth.

By his own admission he had reached his ceiling and said that chances like last season never come around often, so your statement is flawed.

It could be that it's not Ernest's statement that was flawed, but Gus' claim that the ceiling had been hit, a claim that was really another way of saying that Gus thought he was now too big for the club.
Ernest is flawed, however, in saying that Derby and Wigan are play-off certainties. I'd be mightily surprised if Wigan don't make it but, then again, they've got a lot of games to play in not much time. Derby's league position flatters them, and they seem to be wobbling.
