[Technology] Anyone else playing Wordle?

We all have slightly different ways and rules I suspect. I always repeat a green but had no idea this was hard mode. I just want to get it right in as few guesses as possible so wouldn’t guess something it can’t be.

I use past answers from time to time. As the number of available gets smaller so the list is more important.

I do the Mini but always after Wordle in case it has five letter words that put something in my head. Yes, I know that’s weird.

I had no idea there were hints until someone mentioned it here. Certainly wouldn’t use it.

@Cotton Socks - as GB said, just enjoy playing your own game. It is possible to get decent results on hard mode without lists ( which Ive never even seen) or hints ( whatever they are - spoilers?) so keep
going. I feel my scores are no worse on average without using those things.

I do Quordle most days which is really good practice.

There are far greater things to worry about in life than not beating others at wordle and who is or isn’t using assists

I play against my FIL every day, whoever wins gets the point, 1st to 6 wins that match. We've been playing for 3 years & he's only ever won one (maybe 2) matches. That was at the beginning of the year when I was very stressed so I've said it doesn't count!
He gets really wound up about it, often accuses me of cheating!! 'Fifth' the other day, I must've cheated as I got it in 2. Didn't cheat the day before though when I failed! Basically as long as I beat FIL, I'm happy!

I do quordle & octordle! I've just started trying connections & I am bloody useless at it! A fail again today & even seeing the answers for the purple line, I'm thinking, Eh?

I realised you were being slightly tongue in cheek but you were also making a fair point as Flounce made the other day that there are different ways to play which can be harder than others - maybe because I am not very competitive it doesn’t bother me or I don’t even pay attention to what everyone else is doing.

I do get pissed off though if the computer bot gets it quicker than I do by using really obscure words so I do like competing against AI I guess
